After studying at two of the world’s topmost film schools, Faroukh Mistry shot his first theatrical feature at 25 with a legendary director in India. His early years were on movie sets with his mother, a famous movie star, and his dad, one of India’s greatest cinematographers.
Faroukh has shot over 900 commercials, documentaries, web series and features. His work has won the Promax, Genies, Abbys, Tellys and other National awards, including Best Cinematography for a Feature at FIOCCI, Venezuela. In addition, his films have been screened at various festivals, including at Cannes.
Faroukh has worked with Clio and Academy winning directors. He has directed, shot and produced major shows for networks like Sony, Fox, Star, Sky and Fremantle. He is based out of New York and Mumbai and shoots worldwide.
